There was a narrow mountain road with trees hanging in the way; a long drop off visible out my passenger window; and my friend Tom, unaware of just how close to the edge we were, and driving like he was in his own neighborhood, was merrily chatting away about his wife&#8217;s cousin&#8217;s uncle as the occasional oncoming, and speeding, car drove us either towards the rock wall or the drop off.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.z11p.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/stmaartin.jpg\" alt=\"StMaartin.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"520\" height=\"344\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Quite an awesome view from a hill on St. Maartin, but the drive up was a tad scary if I remember correctly.
